Women's History Month - Carrie M. Warford
Women's History Month: I would like to honor my Mother Carrie M. Warford, she is a Mother to five sons and one daughter ME! =) My Moma married early while in high school to escape a not so nice step mother, resulting in having children early in her marriage to my Dad. She didn't work or drive it was the middle 1950 to early 1960's Dad was the bread winner and she took great care of us! Not one day were we hungry or not have a place to stay, and by no means were we wealthy closer to poverty, yet we always went to church and gave to others. The year I had my oldest daughter my parents finalized their divorce after 23yrs of marriage. Since that day in 1978, I have NEVER seen anything short of unwavering strength from my Moma. This is why at age 75yrs old she works full-time almost 7 days a week, and is the strongest I've ever seen!
For me at least she qualifies to be recognized as a pillar of Women's History Month!
